About the role

We’re seeking a proactive and skilled Event Build Manager to join our Creative & Production team. In this newly created role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring every detail is expertly managed to bring our events to life with the highest quality.

This isn’t your typical build manager role. You’ll be at the core of our creative process, turning detailed plans into on-site realities. From leading test builds in our warehouse, to managing skilled crew teams on-site, you’ll ensure every event is delivered flawlessly, with quality and efficiency at the forefront. Working hands-on, you’ll oversee every detail while collaborating closely with our operations and creative teams to guarantee everything runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities

Bring Creative to Life – Work closely with the creative team to transform design plans and drawings into high-quality, on-brand event builds.
Lead On-Site Execution – Oversee the on-site assembly, ensuring every detail is delivered as planned, with full responsibility for set-up and break-down.
Manage and Motivate the Team – Lead, manage, and inspire the crew on-site to deliver under pressure and keep everything running smoothly.
Ensure Health & Safety – Take charge of health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring all work is done safely and in compliance with regulations.
Quality Control – Oversee the loading and handling of all materials for each build, ensuring they arrive in top condition and supporting the safe return and storage of all items to maintain the highest standards for future use.
Problem-Solving – Troubleshoot issues as they arise, providing quick and effective solutions to keep the project moving forward.

About you

You’re a hands-on problem-solver with proven experience in event production, build management, or set construction.
You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and love the challenge of bringing creative visions to life on-site.
You’re skilled with tools and know the ins and outs of building, setting up, and breaking down large-scale event structures.
You have experience leading teams and managing logistics, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Health & Safety is second nature to you, and you ensure that everything is done with the highest safety standards in mind.
You take pride in your work and are committed to ensuring that everything – from the test build to the final breakdown – is completed to the highest standard.
You’re flexible in your working week in order to travel nationally to events ensuring smooth on-site delivery wherever needed.
